Project portfolio

 

The results from the Base block projects will be focused towards new understanding and ultimately, after proper evaluation of any patentable invention, be published. On the other hand, the results from the Applied projects will be focused towards new innovations and improved products. Thus IPR is at focus and publication in the open literature is not the primary goal.

Project leaders and Steering groups

Each Base block project and Applied project has a project leader and a Steering group consisting of the involved project partners. The project leaders continuously update the Centre Manager on progress of the work. The project meetings with the involved project partners occur on a regular basis. The Centre Manager shall aim to be present at the majority of the Applied project meetings. Results from the Base block project are presented to all partners at least twice a year in connection with the Conference (in May) and the Annual Meeting (in November).

In addition, numerous more informal meetings, shorter visits and discussions continuously take place. The location for the Applied project meetings circulates among the participating parties. This not only enable the direct participants in CODIRECT to get to know the other parties, but also enable a larger audience from the hosting party to be informed and get involved in the Centre activities.
